CHRISTMAS 2010 PHOTOS

To add to my last blog posted only today.
During our stay in Bunbury, Kerry, our friend who is a pilot, now working with the RFDS from Perth, hired a plane and flew D'Arcy & myself down the coastline from Bunbury via Bussellton, Dunsborough and Margaret River. A total of 1 1/2hrs in the air it was just beautiful. Due to a large fire south east of Margaret River it was a bit smokey for a lot of photos, but we were able to see the area we were heading down to.
While here in Augusta with Kim & Kyle we had a visit to Hamelyn Bay and Cape Leeuwin. We climbed the lighthouse, which is now automated, with a guide. 176 steps to the top of the largest lighthouse on Australia's mainland. 39mtrs. from the ground, 59mtrs from the water, with the Indian Ocean on one side and the Southern Ocean on the other.
